Launched! New PR Podcasting Service

I'm pleased to officially announce the launch of FKC Newsmaker Interviews, a new podcasting service that allows organizations of all sizes to begin podcasting quickly and easily.

As readers of FKCBlog know well, I'm very bullish about the power of new media distribution platforms as a component of effective communications programs.

I'm having great fun producing the Talking Communications with Farrell Kramer podcast, so I wanted to try to make podcasting available to those who want to energize their communications efforts with professional audio interviews.  This service is being offered through Farrell Kramer Communications, LLC.

FKC Newsmaker Interviews provides:

  • a choice of two podcast lengths: 10 min. or 15 min.
  • professional quality recording and editing
  • a trained interviewer>
  • a standard talk-show format
  • quick turnaround
  • a Web home for the interview, complete with "play" button (iPods not required)
  • hosting for 6 months (based on certain criteria)

This service is ideal for those with little or no technical expertise. All interview subjects need to do is talk on the phone about their product or service. Shortly after, their podcast interviews will be published on the FKC Newsmaker Interviews site. (To sample FKC Newsmaker Interview podcasts, just visit the site and listen!)

Clients can then decide what to do with the podcast. An organization can link to the interview permalink on the FKC Newsmaker Interviews site or link directly to the podcast MP3 file -- for a seamless integration with its own site.

Different audiences can be alerted to the interview podcast via e-mail, site postings, blog postings, press releases and other means. As I've said before, podcasting is like radio on steroids. Here's an interview people can listen to anytime, anywhere.

I designed FKC Newsmaker Interviews to provide a nice complement to news releases, new product or service announcements, marketing campaigns, and, really, any newsworthy purpose an organization can come up with.

Anyone interested in this service can simply contact me through a blog comment, e-mail (info@farrellkramer.com) or a phone call (201) 768-5337.

Also, please, send any suggestions for service features you might like to see.
